I'm starting to worry about San Francisco. I always think of it as a "free spirit" city - Haight Ashbury might have something to do with that, but I digress. So now they want to charge 17 cents for grocery bags and may extend its smoking ban to public parks and other outdoor areas. It all sounds a little fascist to me.
